This video demonstrates pterygium excision by glued-mini-flap technique. Surgery is performed under topical anesthesia using 0.5% proparacaine hydrochloride eyedrops and subconjunctival local anesthesia using 1.0 mL of 2% lidocaine combined with 1:100,000 epinephrine injected at the pterygium body. In this video shows removal of pterygium, flap formation, fibrin glue use in the modified and postoperative advice. The mini-flap technique has been modified to ensure better safety, efficacy, and rapidity of the surgery.
