This video showing pterygium excision with inferior conjunctival autografting (the technique for combined suturing and welding). Mark the neck of the pterygium by surgical marking pen. Subconjunctival anesthesia and cut along the marked incision line with a Vannas scissors. A forceps through below the pterygium to protect the medial rectus and tearing off the pterygium head. Electric-coagulative hemostasis. Excise the pterygium complete. Measure the length of the bare sclera.
