About Video

At 9th week (days 57 to 64), except for the external genitalia, the embryo is totally formed. The head is still disproportionately large and makes up almost half of the embryo (0 second to 20 seconds). The neck region is well defined and the lids are more obvious, now in the preoclusion phase. The intestine is still inside the proximal portion of the umbilical cord (00.25 seconds – 00.50 seconds). The external ears begin to acquire their final shape, but their implantation in the head is still low. At the end of this week, the CRL reaches the 50 mm (00.55 seconds – 1 minute and 5 seconds).
