About Video

Peripheral nerve stimulator with different modes for stimulation. This video describe summary of patterns neuromuscular stimulation. During induction, the stimulator can be used to determine the onset of NMB and the extent of relaxation achieved for intubating the patient. Neuromuscular blockade and adequate depth of anesthesia are essential features during intubation. Use of the PNS during maintenance phase avoids underdosing and overdosing of relaxant. The stimulator is helpful at the end of the surgery to assess the reversibility of the block and adjust the dose of the reversal agent accordingly.
