This video demonstrates femoral hernia. Femoral hernia must be carefully reduced into the preperitoneal space in order to adequately identify the femoral canal structures and complete the repair. Polypropylene mesh is utilized it should be anchored to the pelvis taking precautions as noted previously to avoid major vascular or neural injuries.
