Four-chamber view—smaller left ventricle (LV) and mitral atresia. In this case, a large and hypertrabeculated right ventricle (RV) contrasts with the smaller, nonapex-forming LV (~). The smaller left atrium (LA) is separated from the larger right atrium (RA) by a slightly thickened interatrial septum with a central defect; its edges are bowing into the right atrium.
