About Video

Asymmetric four-chamber view, atrioventricular canal defect (AVCD). A common atrioventricular valve is suspected accompanied by an atrial and ventricular septal defect (*). Left-sided atrium appears to have the right atrial appendage (RAAp) and hence the right atrium. The left atrium is right-sided and receives the pulmonary veins. The right-sided left ventricle appears to be smaller than the other ventricle.
