Left ventricular noncompaction. Two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography. Contrast study using definity was performed for better assessment of left ventricle (LV) endocardial border. Arrows point to multiple trabeculations in the LV apex indicative of noncompaction. Note very poor LV function often noted in this entity. (RV: Right ventricle).
