This video clip apical 4-chamber view shows a dilated right ventricle (RV), reduced coaptation of the tricuspid valve in systole, severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR) and a normal pulmonary artery systolic pressure using continuous wave Doppler derived TR velocity. The aortic short-axis view shows the pulmonary regurgitation (PR) jet occupying the full proximal width of the right ventricular (RV) outflow tract immediately adjacent to the pulmonary valve (PV) indicative of torrential PR. The left atrial (LA) appendage imaged beneath the PV appears clear. (LV: Left ventricle; RA: Right atrium).
