This video clip shows two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography. Arrowhead in points to a mass-like echo adjacent to the aortic valve. With suitable probe angulation and rotation, it is clear that this is an artifact produced by en face imaging of the normal left coronary cusp of the aortic valve.
