This video clip showing two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography. Redundancy of the middle (A2) segment of the mitral valve with regurgitation. Transgastric view. Arrow points to redundancy of the A2 segment of the anterior mitral valve (MV) leaflet. This is best appreciated in the half-open or half-closed position. Mitral regurgitation (MR) appears to originate from the posterior commissure. (LV: Left ventricle).
