About Video

This video clip transesophageal echocardiographic demonstrating the aortic valve on 2-dimensional imaging and color Doppler interrogation with color comparison. Mobile vegetations attached to the noncoronary cusp of the aortic valve are seen. Echo dropout in the noncoronary cusp is well visualized on two-dimensional echocardiography and the aortic regurgitant jet across the dropout on color Doppler interrogation is suggestive of perforation in the leaflet.
