This video clip showing two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography. Arrow points to a large saccular aneurysm of the descending thoracic aorta (DA). Note flow signals moving into the aneurysm in systole and back into DA in diastole. Spontaneous contrast signals (smoke) consistent with a low flow state are observed in the aneurysm.
