This video showing 2D apical 2 chamber view. In this view, the anterior segments of the LV myocardium are displayed to the right side of the screen, and the inferior segments to the left. The LA is visible in the lower part of the screen; the left atrial appendage can usually be seen to the right of the screen, though sometimes minor adjustments may be required in the angulation and rotation of the probe to visualize it better.
