About Video

This video a cadaveric demonstration of the mechanism of posteromedial impingement. The soft tissue and capsular tissue of the medial elbow have been removed in order to clearly demonstrate the pathomechanics of valgus extension overload. As the elbow is brought from flexion to extension with an applied varus torque, the olecranon tip abuts the posteromedial aspect of the olecranon fossa.
