About Video

This video demonstrates the ‘infratemporal fossa type A’ approach for glomus tumors. The key point in this surgery is the anterior rerouting of the facial nerve to gain access to provide sufficient exposure. The author takes us through the steps of surgery from incision to closure, showing us how the facial nerve, when rerouted anteriorly, provides adequate exposure of a tumor situated in the infratemporal fossa.
