This video demonstrates surgical closure of an oroantral fistula. Uncinectomy, with widening of natural maxillary sinus ostium, clearance of all debris, removal of granulation tissue at the fistula site, with freshening of the mucosa at the antral and oral aspects; the marking out the buccal mucosal flap are described in detail. Meticulous clearance of all granulation tissue locally, adequate freshing of edges till bleeding margins obtained, restoration of normal maxillary sinus drainage pattern endoscopically, wide based pedicled flap and tension-free suturing of the flap with absorbable sutures are described in details.
