If foldable intraocular lenses have to be explanted several techniques are described. We believe that most IOL can be refolded intraocular by using a spatula from opposite the main incision and a forceps for implantation of foldable IOL through main incision to refold the IOL in the anterior chamber by gentle pressure counter-pressure both instruments and runing the IOL to side while explanting. IOL with 6 mm optics can be explanted through 2.8 to 3.0 mm incision using this technique. For silico
