About Video

Long oval capsulorhexis is very useful in cases of posterior polar cataract, in cases of pre-existing posterior capsular rupture and cases of hard cataracts. Long oval capsulorhexis prevent a rise of fluid pressure inside the capsular bag and thus prevents the fall of nucleus in the vitreous. It is possible to do perfect lens extraction even without disturbing the pre-existing posterior capsular rupture edge.
