About Video

After conjunctival flap is made and scleral tunnel formed, trabeculectomy is done. Releasable suture can be preplaced or can be put later with its bite involving scleral flap end, then limbus and the adjacent limbus and finally coming out from scleral end, the knot is tied. This can be released any time before 6 weeks titrating the response to surgery.
