Trabeculectomy is the standard antiglaucoma surgery done to control IOP in most of the cases of glaucoma. In this video, a limbal-based conjunctival flap is raised. After an adequate cautery, a sponge soaked with MMC 0.2 mg/ml is applied for 2 minutes in primary trabeculectomy and 4 minutes for high risk cases. A thorough wash is given. We prefer a triangular scleral flap of 4 x 4 mm size. After adequate sclerostomy and iridectomy, the flap is sutured with 10-0 nylon and conjunctiva with 8-0 vic
