To emhance epiretinal membranes and internal limiting membrane during peeling various dyes are used but these dyes have a risk of retinal toxicity or ineffective marking of targeted tissue. Triamcinolone acetate could be used for marking the vitreous body and for staning of epiretinal membranes or limiting internal membrane during vitrectomy and peeling.
