Abstract

This chapter divided into two parts first one is metatarsus adductus and another part is congenital vertical talus. Metatarsus adductus is a common foot condition. Its incidence is 1/1,000 live births. Metatarsus adductus, which consists of adduction of the forefeet in relation to the midfoot and hindfoot, is a fairly common anomaly, often causing in-toeing in children. Surgical treatment is treatment options for metatarsus adductus. Congenital vertical talus (CVT) is the most severe malformation of the spectrum of congenital flat feet. It is a rare and complex deformity with uncertain etiology, and challenging methods of treatment. Articulations and ossification centers are pathologic anatomies for the CVT. A well-illustrated table on the treatment algorithm for metatarsus adductus is also provided in this chapter.
