PREFACE
KK Pareek
Girish Mathur
With time, medical and clinical knowledge and technologies are continuously evolving and at the same time teaching methodology imparting education and knowledge is also undergoing a dynamic change.
Although traditional lectures and classroom teaching are still the most commonly adopted way of learning but to impart critical learning skills in clinical medicine, case-based learning has emerged as an important tool of learning and teaching.
The idea behind bringing out this book ”Interesting Clinical Cases in Medicine” comprising interesting clinical cases in different specialty of medicine is to help practicing physicians in general, and postgraduate students in particular, to learn clinical medicine through case-based discussion.
Contributors of case reports in the book are eminent clinicians of great repute from different parts of the country. We take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all of them for their outstanding academic contribution to our endeavor.
