International Gynecological Cancer Society (IGCS) and International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) have always put women's health to combat female cancers as their primary objectives.
The major tasks faced by a gynecologist having made a diagnosis of genital cancer are to determine the most effective therapy and to formulate a prognosis for the patient. In order to manage a cancer, both the extent of the disease (i.e. stage) and knowledge of its biology are essential.
In view of the above facts, the editor has taken the initiative to select various experts to write each chapter of this book in detail. This book not only highlights genital and breast cancer but also focuses on the treatment modalities of cancer and the various pertinent issues relating to it.
