This chapter contains 42 well illustrated diagrams and 2 tables. Chapter starts with description of normal visual field. It covers comprehensively visual pathway with description of each component of pathway, e.g. optic tract, lateral geniculate body, optic radiations. Various visual field defects are depicted diagrammatically. Adequate text of clinical conditions related to visual field defects are included in this chapter. Clinical conditions are summarised in two tables for better understanding and easy recollection. Different methods of measurement of visual fields are described in detail. Interpretation of visual fields on perimetry is explained with illustations.
