Abstract

This chapter includes the very crucial discussion on Sources of Error in Studies. The main point of discussion here are the various kinds of systematic errors (i.e. bias) namely, selection bias, information bias, confounding, Hawthorne effect, and post-hoc bias. This chapter also includes a brief account of the options available for minimizing the impact of systematic errors.
