5Preface
Viva-voce is an important part of the examination in all professional courses. This will ensure that the student has understood the subject, he can express in his own words and it is a stepping-stone to future seminars, etc. With this in mind, this book contains more than 1200 simple questions and answers related to dental materials of 1st BDS course. I have also included chapters on spotters, and manipulations of materials, which are in the scheme of University practical examinations. It is hoped students will be benefited by reading this book.
