Critical Care Update 2020

Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) introduces the book Critical Care Update 2020 to the critical care community. Critical care aims to improve the care of critically ill patients by acquiring; discussing; distributing; and promoting evidence-based information relevant to intensivists. This book comprised of 11 sections, which include respiratory, airway, ventilation, cardiovascular, hemodynamics, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, infection, antibiotic, sepsis, neurology, nephrology, dialysis, trauma, perioperative, toxicology, gastroenterology, pancreas, nutrition, hematology, oncology, obstetrics, pharmacology, quality, organization, safety, research, endocrine, metabolic, extracorporeal support, paediatrics, which are further divided into chapters. The ratio of chapter distribution is in keeping with the relative scientific work done in the respective field. The topics in the chapter have been carefully selected by the ISCCM National Scientific Committee. Intensivists and postgraduates across the country will find the book as an invaluable reference text.
