The aim of this case based book focuses on the hypertension. Hypertension is the commonest non-communicable disease and has a prevalence of 28% in our country. It causes multiple target organ damage which changes the approach to management of a given case. This book presents a selection of clinical case scenarios illustrating diagnostic and management techniques for hypertension. The book is divided into 9 sections. The following sections cover ECGs, diagnosis, and cases of hypertension with comorbidities including pregnancy, renal disorders and vascular conditions. The final section examines Secondary hypertension. The text begins with discussion on hypertension and associated risk factors, and different types of hypertension. This book is not intended to be a textbook on hypertension. It is only a practical, useful and easy reading for guidance of clinicians regarding management of individual patients.
