The objective of this book is to introduce the practical orthopedic examination made easy®. The book provides relevant viva voce reading material for preparation for most of the orthopedic cases given in a standard practical evaluation. The examination points given at the beginning of every region serve as a quick synopsis along with comments on some uncommon tests that are still uncommonly asked. Figures have deliberately been omitted to make the material less bulky. The third edition of this book consists of 12 chapters that discussed how to approach examinations, the hip, the knee, foot and ankle, the shoulder, the elbow joint, wrist and hand, the spine, miscellaneous short case, miscellaneous topics, and how to read an x-ray and some common radiographs. A new chapter on reading an X-ray has been added along with the addition of new cases like tuberculosis of knee joint, foot drop, and deltoid contracture. Lots of questions with relevant answers have been added for hip cases. All these are amply supplemented with adequate figures. The main aims to improve the preparation of students for practical examination.
