First Aid for Nurses

by TK Indrani

The Second edition of the book “First Aid for Nurses” is based on the new and latest INC syllabus. The book is intended to give more information for students and teachers, who teach First Aid subjects. It is also helpful for those who train First Aid—like Indian Red Cross Society. This book consists of 15 chapters, which include first aid introduction, first aid for bites and stings, emergency resuscitation, shock treatment, hemorrhage, or bleeding and first aid, wounds and first aid, transport of injured persons and first aid, fractures, poisoning and first aid, foreign body injuries and first aid, emergency in community and first aid, disaster management, and famine relief. These topics are analyzed in the book comprehensively in an easy-to-understand method. I hope the second edition will fetch a good demand from nursing schools, colleges, and Indian Red Cross Society, and Red Cross Societies in other countries.
