Alzheimer\'s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive dementia and loss of cognitive abilities. Anti-Alzheimer’s agents include donepezil, galantamine, memantine, and rivastigmine. Anti-Alzheimer’s agents increase the amount of acetylcholine in the CNS by inhibiting cholinesterase. Uses of Anti-Alzheimer’s agents, dosages, and side effects of Anti-Alzheimer’s agents are also discussed in this chapter. Side effects of Anti-Alzheimer’s agents are headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, weight gain or loss.
