This book “Exam Preparatory Manual for Undergraduates: Orthopedics” has been written to meet the requirement of undergraduate students getting basic ideas in orthopedics (medical science). Ever since the orthopedics section in medical science was introduced in India, a need has been felt for a book on this subject of basic standard and undergraduate (both practical and theoretical) exam-oriented. A keen attempt has been made to make the book useful and interesting and required to deal with trauma (fractures), tumor, sports medicine, congenital and metabolic disorders and related orthopedic surgery, which is required for undergraduate MBBS exam. Leaving aside all the necessary things, only the essential facts have been discussed in this book. It has a direct link with practical work that all the common and complicated troubles of orthopedics have been explained very clearly and easy to understand and easy to memorize also. It has been experienced that students’ lack in their confidence to face long cases, short cases, instruments, implants, X-rays, Viva Voce and short-note type questions. Therefore, this book has been written in such a way that it may equip the students with basic knowledge to face theoretical as well as practical exam in orthopedics part of surgery exam.
