This is the 2nd edition of the book Atlas of Diagnostic Endoscopy. The text is comprehensive, updated and fully revised as per the present day requirements in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy of upper GTI. The aim of this book is to provide sound foundation of endoscopy to young doctors for interpretation of the correct pathology. Some poor quality and repetitive images of the previous edition are replaced by new ones. The book has 18 chapters. The first chapter deals with technique of UGI endoscopy and normal anatomy. Chapter two provides a comprehensive description of esophageal conditions. A sound foundation of understanding of abnormalities related to motility of esophagus and gastroesophageal reflux is provided in next 2 chapters. Chapter 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 deal with gastric ulcers and tumors. Portal hypertension, corrosive injury and uncommon diseases of GI tract are given in next six chapters. Foreign body and tracheoesophageal fistula are covered in chapter sixteen and seventeen. Chapter 18 deals with miscellaneous conditions. A comprehensive index is given at last.
