The objective of this book is to introduce the techniques in spine surgery. Spine surgery is a rapidly evolving field, with numerous advancements constantly being made to improve the overall safety and efficacy of various surgical procedures. With a greater understanding of spinal pathophysiology comes an array of modern surgical techniques that have been developed to allow surgeons to more precisely address specific pathoanatomy to improve a patient’s quality of life. This anthology of complex spinal techniques has been carefully crafted as a teaching tool for medical students, orthopedic residents, spine fellows, and young spine attendings, in a collective effort to improve the administration of complex spine care to patients around the world.
