The aim of this textbook is to focus on the color Doppler imaging. Color Doppler sonography is a combination of Doppler ultrasound and gray scale ultrasound to provide simultaneous realtime visualization of soft tissues structures and blood flow over the entire scan field. Interpretation of this information required a sound knowledge of the basic technical principles of color Doppler imaging and the pathophysiology involved in the disease process. The book provides in-depth, clear and concise knowledge of color Doppler for diagnosing various diseases of the human body. The extensive text covered in this book itself portrays the burden borne by this aspect of imaging. An attempt has been made to provide update knowledge of the subject. Use of contrast medium in vascular ultrasonography has been highlighted in this book. A satisfactory number of illustrations have been included in each chapter to provide an interesting insight into the subject.
