Basics in Human Anatomy for BSc Paramedical Courses

by Priya Ranganath, Leelavathy N

This book focuses on basics in human anatomy. Anatomy is a vast subject. Learning the structure of each and every part of the human body separately is impossible. This book consists of 15 chapters, which include epithelial tissue and glands, connective tissue and skeletal system, muscular system, lymphatic system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system, reproductive system, endocrine system, nervous system, sensory organs, and general embryology. The text is simple and the line diagrams are easy to follow. Each chapter starts with a list of topics covered and ends with a list of most frequently asked questions. The gross, microscopic and applied anatomical features of each system are given together so that it becomes easy for the students to understand and correlate. This book contains a simplified version of all systems and it is hoped that this will be understood by all paramedical students.
