This chapter covers discussion on hypolipidemic drugs. Lipoproteins transport cholesterol and triglycerides (TG) in blood. Low-density lipoproteins (LDL), high-density lipoproteins (HDL) transport, very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL), and chylomicrons (CM) are the four types of lipoproteins.
