Abstract

The students are nowadays involved in short project spreading over their vacation period. These projects are introduced at this time as the budding doctors should be aware about basics of research. It is expected that this will help them a lot in the future larger projects/thesis, etc. Research literally means finding an answer to a well-defined question, hence the most important components is what are students or researchers going to research or what is the topic of your research. Introduction, aims and objectives, methods, and bibliography work well for short research project, e.g. ICMR student projects. However, for thesis as well as for bigger projects you need to add review of literature after introduction. Two well-labeled figures related to the components of a research project and flow diagram for collecting relevant articles are also presented in this chapter, which are very helpful for readers or students.
