The objective of this chapter is to introduce the antifungal drugs. An antifungal medication is a pharmaceutical fungicide or fungistatic used to treat and prevent mycosis such as athlete\'s foot, ringworm, candidiasis (thrush), serious systemic infections such as cryptococcal meningitis, and others. This chapter covers the fluconazole, terbinafine, amphotericin B, and griseofulvin along with their indication, dose, contraindication, precaution, adverse effect, and drug interaction. Superficial mucosal candidiasis, candidal balanitis, and candida infection are the indications of fluconazole. Hypersensitivity, pregnancy and lactation are the contraindications of fluconazole.
