Abstract

This chapter describes the clinical procedure such as audiometry, ophthalmo- dynamometry, tonometry, visual acuity test and endoscopic procedure such as gonioscopy, otoscopy, retinoscopy, bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy, colonoscopy colono-fiberoscopy, esophagoscopy with biopsy, peritoneoscopy, laparoscopy, gastrointestinal endoscopy, nephroscopy, colposcopy, colpomicroscopy. Ophthalmo-dynamometry is used to determine the pressure in the ophthalmic artery by use of an instrument that produces pressure in the eyeball until pulsations in the ophthalmic arteries are seen through an ophthalmoscope. Tonometry determines the intraocular pressure.
