With this Seventh edition, the Textbook of Biochemistry for Medical Students is entering the 19th year of existence. This book contains an amalgamation of the essentials of basic biochemistry with advanced knowledge in the frontiers of molecular biology. Chapters on clinical chemistry have been extensively updated and clinically relevant points are further added. Moreover, the facts are presented with numbers, so as to aid in memorization. There are about 1,100 figures, 230 tables, 250 boxes and 100 clinical case studies, altogether making the book more student-friendly.
