Abstract

Microscope is an essential item of a laboratory. There are different types of microscope used in laboratory for different purposes. In this chapter light binocular microscope and electron microscope, their types, indications, processing for EM, how to focus an object, limitations, preservation have been described. Both scanning and transmission electron microscope have been mentioned.
