Abstract

Echocardiography (TTE and TEE) is extremely useful modality in preprocedure selection and planning, during and postprocedure for interventions in congenital heart disease (CHD). It is indispensible part of all procedures. It is extremely useful for later evaluation after procedure and long-term follow-up. Echocardiography is also very useful in defecting complication, such as cardiac tamponade, valve tear or avulsion, and myocardial or papillary muscle rupture.
