This chapter begins with an account of hypothalamus-pituitary involvement in TB. This is followed by a description of altered water and electrolyte metabolism in TB. Then, TB of the thyroid gland is presented. Hypercalcaemia and TB, vitamin D deficiency and TB are then discussed. The effect of diabetes mellitus on TB and TB on diabetes mellitus are covered in detail.
