The “Midwifery Casebook ” for BSc Nursing students includes an outline of learning requirements and contents are organized according to the revised syllabus of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (2007) and Indian Nursing Council Syllabus (2004). Formats for entering client data and notes on nursing process for clients in various stages of childbearing process and newborn period are included. Brief notes on maternal newborn care, selected nursing procedures and nursing diagnoses are part of the casebook for reference of undergraduate students as they engage in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to such clients. This practical record book will be of much help to BSc Nursing students to provide comprehensive care to their maternal and newborn clients as well as record the information in a systematic manner.
