This chapter gives a description of physical and chemical characteristics of a normal urine sample. Physical and chemical tests of urine are elaborated. Physical tests include volume, color, odour, specific gravity, reaction and clarity. Chemical tests are done to detect inorganic and organic constituents of urine.
