The book titled “Retinal Imaging” enlightens numerous techniques of imaging to the readers and these techniques are presently being operated to diagnose and cure retinal diseases. This book consists of ten chapters. Positron-emission tomography (PET) is widely used in the supervision of various oncological, neurological and infectious diseases. FDG-PET can detect process which increases the glucose metabolism and granulomatous disease. Modern Cross-sectional Imaging Techniques in Ophthalmology is discussed in a simple manner. Power Doppler, three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) are important techniques which provide a data on the perfusion of organs. Ultrasound biomicroscopy is mainly used treat vitreo-retinal disease and also for entire ocular pathology that falls in its perforation confines. Fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography, retcam fundus imaging, optical coherence tomography, scanning laser ophthalmoscope and special techniques such as fundus autofluorescence imaging are explained in a detailed manner.
