The book titled “PHACOEMULSIFICATION” highlights various aspects, which are to be considered in performing a cataract surgery in a better and more efficient way. The book covers four chapters in details. The first chapter gives the idea of the phaco basics. Being an introductory chapter, the bimanual phaco/ phakonit surgery technique is explained. Chapter two emphases on the tough cases to deal with especially the cataracts associated with zonular dialysis. Chapter three explores the major complications involved in managing the surgery and methods to check the complications. Phakonit and microphakonit is the area of discussion in the final chapter, which proves itself in providing a greater benefit to the cataract removal surgery. On the whole, “PHACOEMULSIFICATION” is a small and precise book solely dealing with the surgical management of the cataract surgery with lower risk to the patients and ease and better outcome to the surgeons.
